My business, Ali Shawls, began completely by chance. Around five years ago, I discovered the most beautiful Tibetan shawls at Spitalfields Market in London, sold by a lovely Tibetan couple. I bought a few for myself, but as soon as my friends saw them, they all wanted one too! Before long, I found myself returning for more, and what started as a simple purchase gradually grew into the business I have today.

I now work closely with my Tibetan suppliers, who travel back to Tibet each year to source exceptional-quality shawls. I love choosing the colours and designs from their collection, knowing each piece has been carefully selected.
