For MORE THAN 34 years, UK Grand Sales has been bringing together beautifully curated shopping events, offering a unique boutique experience.
We host five fabulous shows each year: two stylish boutique fashion events in spring and autumn at Ascot Racecourse and three magical Christmas Fairs in Cheltenham, Ascot, and Harrogate.
UK Grand Sales is run by The Value for Money Company Limited, founded in 1992. Originally led by four directors, today it remains a family business with David Heslam and Noelle Walsh at the helm. As the next generation steps in, their daughter Ciara is taking an active role, ensuring these events continue to thrive.

WHO WE ARE
At the heart of UK Grand Sales is a passion for quality, style, and creating wonderful shopping experiences.
Noelle Walsh began her career in magazines, working at Cosmopolitan before becoming Editor of Good Housekeeping in the late Eighties and early Nineties. She later moved to The Daily Telegraph before co-founding The Value for Money Company Limited. Alongside her editorial career, Noelle wrote the best-selling Good Deal Directory and famously furnished The Good Deal House entirely with factory shop finds—saving £17,000 on a three-bedroom home. She has written extensively for magazines and newspapers and has appeared on TV and radio as an expert on smart shopping.
David Heslam came from a publishing background, working as a senior commissioning editor for the Hamlyn Group before joining Noelle to build the business. Together, they have shaped UK Grand Sales into the much-loved events they are today.



Ciara Heslam
With over 13 years of experience in social media and digital marketing, Ciara has worked with some of the world’s most prestigious brands. She began her career at Liberty, Harvey Nichols, and Vivienne Westwood before moving to Dubai, where she worked in high-end retail. On returning to the UK, she joined leading agencies, specialising in influencer marketing and working with major global brands. Now, she brings her expertise to UK Grand Sales, helping to shape the future of the business.
Our Shows
Our boutique-style fairs are premium shopping events, carefully curated to attract a discerning, high-spending audience. With 130-180 exhibitors per event, we offer a more intimate and stylish alternative to large-scale consumer shows, bringing together the best in fashion, gifts, homeware, and festive inspiration.
